When and how

  1. Your employer must give you the EA form by 28 February 2027.
  2. e-Filing for Form BE (no business income) usually opens on 1 March.
  3. Sign in to MyTax, choose e-BE for year of assessment 2026, and copy the figures from your PDF summary.
  4. The deadline is 30 April 2027. e-Filing usually gets a short grace period; check LHDN's filing programme.

Keep receipts, don't send them

You don't upload receipts when you e-File, but LHDN can ask for them in an audit. Keep everything for 7 years. The PDF summary lists the documents for each relief you claim, and you can merge it with your scanned receipts at mypdf.my.

  • Childcare and kindergarten fees: the RM3,000 limit is now permanent, and JKM-registered day care or after-school centres for children up to 12 also count.
  • Diagnosis and therapy for children with learning disabilities: raised from RM6,000 to RM10,000.
  • Life insurance and takaful now include policies for your children.
  • Every vaccine approved by NPRA counts for the vaccination relief.
